City Lights Art Challenge 2026
Overview:
The City Lights Art Challenge 2026 is an international online art competition hosted by Ten Moir Gallery that celebrates urban life, glowing skylines, bustling streets, and the everyday moments that make a city come alive after dark. Artists and photographers worldwide are encouraged to explore the theme “City Lights” through their work and share it with an international audience.
Who Can Enter:
• Open to emerging and established artists aged 18 and over from anywhere in the world.
• All 2D and 3D mediums are eligible, including painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography, and digital art.
• Artists must own the rights to all submitted artwork.
Theme:
• The challenge invites works that interpret how a city looks and feels as it illuminates at night, from neon reflections and streetlights to urban crowds and hidden urban corners.
Key Dates:
• Free First Entry Opens: March 1, 2026
• Early Bird Free Entry Deadline: March 10, 2026
• Final Submission Deadline: May 31, 2026
• Results Announced (Emailed): June 18, 2026
How to Enter:
- Submit your first image for free before the Early Bird Deadline.
- Complete the online form with your name, website (optional), artwork titles, and mediums.
- Upload artwork as JPG or PNG files, under 3 MB with a minimum of 2000 px on the longest side.
- Confirm submission and check your email for confirmation.
Entry Fees:
• 1 image: Free (before early bird deadline)
• 2 images: $18
• 3 images: $25
• 4 images: $36
• 5 images: $45
• 6–10 images: $55
Judging Criteria:
Artworks are evaluated on craftsmanship, presentation, interpretation of the theme, composition, creativity, and technical skill by a panel of jurors.
Awards & Recognition:
• Best in Show: $150 cash award, artist interview, mini spotlight feature, homepage feature, and a free entry to the Blue Sky Artist Award.
• Runner Ups (Traditional & Photography): Website feature, social media post, art journal mini spotlight, and a free Blue Sky entry.
• Finalists (Top 15–20): Curated collection feature, digital certificate, and social highlights.
• All Selected Artists: Your name, artwork title, and link displayed on the curated collection page.
Artists retain full copyright of their work. Submitted artwork may be used for challenge–related promotion, always with credit
