Overview
The Taiwan International Student Design Competition 2026 (TISDC) is a globally recognized annual student design contest organized by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan. It invites emerging designers from around the world to showcase their creativity and design skills across multiple disciplines with a global perspective.
Theme – Resilience
The theme for 2026 is “Resilience” — emphasizing adaptability, perseverance, and the capacity to transform challenges into opportunities. It encourages participants to respond to global changes and rapidly evolving societal issues through creative design solutions.
Purpose
The competition aims to:
- Encourage international creative design exchange among student communities.
- Develop creative design talents and strengthen students’ global networks.
- Showcase Taiwan’s international design identity and enhance its presence in the global creative community.
Categories
Participants may submit work in one or more of the following design areas:
• Product Design
• Visual Design
• Digital Animation
• Architecture & Landscape Design
• Fashion Design
Eligibility
• Open to students currently enrolled in senior high school or higher education institutions worldwide.
• Entrants must be born after April 27, 1996 and under 30 years old at the time of entry.
• Participants may enter individually or as teams.

• Entry Opens: April 27, 2026
• Submission Deadline: July 20, 2026
• Results Announcement: Expected November–December 2026

• Participation is free — no entry fee required.

Prizes
• Grand Prix: NT$400,000 (≈ US$13,000) plus trophy and certificate
