KEPEZ MUNICIPALITY 99 ARTIFACTS FOR THE 99TH ANNIVERSARY REPUBLIC EXHIBITION COMPETITION CONDITIONS 2022
Purpose of the Competition
The 99 orks republic exhibiton competition, will be held for the first time in order to support the developments in the field of contemporary art and support the artists. It is organized with the aim of paying homage to our repbulic and its founders.
The subject of the competition
The terms of the competition, which was held specifically for the 99th anniversary of the founding of the republic is free.
Scope of the competition
The competition is open to the participation of national and international artists and there is no age limit.
Conditions Of Participation
1. All kinds of production techniques and materials can be used in the works to be send to the competition in the dimensoins of the work, it should be under 120 cm and the scale is free
2. Articipants can participate in the competition with only one work
3. The works submitted to the to the competition must not have participated in any other competitions and exhibited before
4. The paricipants declares and undertakes that the work sent to the competitions is entirely his own made. all kinds of interventions and changes that aim to mislead the jury and pretend that the work that he was led to the competition doesnt belong to him will be considered as a violation of thee rules and necssary action will be taken
5. The nickname determined by the participant should be written on the back of the work in an indeliable way.
6. By filling out the participation form, the participant states that he/she owns and owns the work of the work to which he/she will participate in the competition, and that he/she is the owner of the work in the 21st-25th article of the Turkish Intellectual and Artistic Works Law No. 5846. The municipality of Kepez, in the form of a simple non-exclusive license, covers the financial rights of communication to
the public by means of processing, reproduction, dissemination, representation and sign, sound or image transmission, as defined in the provisions of the article, without any place, time and number restrictions and including the right to transfer the work in question to third parties. It is deemed to have declared and accepted in advance that it consents to use it in any way it wishes by exhibiting, keeping in its
archive, duplicating and publishing on the internet and in other ways, without being limited to these.
7. In the event that the works to which the participant will participate in the competition receive an award or honorable mention, the participant is the owner of the works that received a degree or honorable mention, and transfers the ownership of the original work sent to the competition to the project partners, the process defined in the provisions of Article 21, 25 of the Turkish Intellectual and Artistic Works Law No. 5846 on the work, Exhibiting the works in question, keeping them in their archives, keeping them in their archives, including the rights to use the financial rights of reproduction, dissemination, representation and transmission to the public by means of sign, sound or image transmission, their transfer rights to third parties, without any place, time and number restrictions. It accepts and declares in advance

these works in all kinds of promotional materials such as posters, catalogs, brochures, and to publish them in the written and visual media, and will not pay any additional fees to the participant for these transactions.
8. The participant, the personal information he gave while participating in the competition, will be processed and transferred for communication and participation in the competition within the framework of the project within the scope of the law on the protection of personal data No. 6698, and even if the application is unsuccessful, the personal data will be kept by the project partners for the period
stipulated by the legislation. It is deemed to have accepted and declared that it will be shared with the press and broadcasting organs and other relevant persons, that the information will be shared with the public as the owner of the work in case of receiving an award or publishing his work, and that the necessary information has been given to him in this regard.
9. The works that won the highest place in the competition will belong to the municipality of Kepez. Works other than these must be taken back from the municipality of Kepez within 60 days from the date of the announcement of the competition results, or they must be sent to the address by courier, provided that the costs belong to the participant. The works that are not taken back within this period will be deemed to be left to the project partners who organized the competition.
10. If the jury cannot find a work worthy of a degree, it may not choose 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
11. If the work sent by the competitor to the competition has received an award or honorable mention, the competitor does not have the right to withdraw his work from the competition. The competitor does not have the right to withdraw his work after he has sent his work and the jury has evaluated it.
12. Works can be hand-delivered or sent by courier. Shipping costs belong to the participant and the organizing committee cannot be held responsible for any problems and damages that may occur in the cargo. No rights can be claimed from the organizing committee due to reasons such as tearing, loss, etc.
13. Each owner of the work, who participates in the competition and fills the attached form, will have accepted all the conditions and the decisions of the jury specified in this specification.

Evaluation and award ceremony
1. Jury evaluation will take place between 5 and 10 October 2022.
2. In case of any problems, the members of the jury may change.
3. The results will be announced by the end of the working hours on October 15, 2022.
4. After the evaluation, the participants will be informed via e-mail and announced on
social media accounts.
5. Within the scope of the activities of the 99th anniversary of the proclamation of the
republic, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd. 99 works special for the traditional 99th anniversary will
be exhibited in the republic exhibition.
