International Art Competition – Free Entry
The TERAVARNA Foundation invites artists from around the world to participate in EARTHBOUND: Art Inspired by Nature 2026, a free international juried art competition celebrating artistic interpretations of nature and our shared planet.
Artists are encouraged to explore nature as a subject, source of inspiration, memory, metaphor, environment, or part of the human experience.
Who Can Enter?
The competition is open worldwide to:
- Artists of all nationalities
- Artists of all experience levels
- Artists from any artistic background
- Participants of all ages
Artists under 18 may participate with parent or guardian consent where required.
Eligible Art Forms
All forms of visual art are welcome, including:
- Painting
- Drawing and illustration
- Sculpture
- Photography
- Mixed media
- Digital art
- Printmaking
- Textile and fiber art
- Ceramics
- Installation
- Other visual art forms
Theme
EARTHBOUND – Art Inspired by Nature
Artists are free to interpret the natural world through their own artistic language.
Works may explore:
- The beauty of nature
- Environmental change
- The relationship between people and nature
- Animals and wildlife
- Personal memories connected to nature
- Visions of Earth’s future
- Or any other artistic interpretation inspired by the natural world
AI Policy
AI-generated and AI-assisted artwork is not eligible.
All submitted artwork must be created entirely by humans.
Number of Entries
Each artist may submit one artwork only.
Duplicate submissions may result in disqualification.
Image Submission Requirements
The artwork image must:
- Be submitted in JPG or JPEG format
- Preferably be around 2 MB
- Not exceed 5 MB
- Clearly show the complete artwork
- Be free of borders, frames, or unnecessary elements
- Be sharp and properly focused
Awards and Recognition
The competition will recognize more than 15 winners.
Among them, three top winners will receive additional recognition.

- Dedicated interview features for the top three winners
